It feels a bit like hard work to use. They seem to have support for Dropbox but just as an afterthought and not the main thing. The main thing means running your own server, but it doesn't look easy to set up. I want to think of an app

I think we can ethically sell things that don't exist to "sophisticated" investors - which is hard to define but probably based on net worth. Maybe limit the $ amount you can invest per person from "poor" investors

Free snacks & beer are an anti-perk if you want to maintain a healthy BMI, and a healthy body. Alcohol is a drug with side effects (even if you don't have a hangover), but most people don't think of it that way.

Everyone will be minimizing expenses, so cash velocity is going to dramatically decrease. A recession to affect all sectors unless a miracle cure comes out this week. On that basis I expect real estate values to fall and stocks to continue

Yes it's like the "cancel all debts" idea. Great idea, but emm.. by the way you do realise that "money in your bank account" is technically a debt that the bank owes you, so that gets cancelled too! Ah "cancel

What about solvency, and the knock on effect to creditors. They can't pay the booze supplier and they go out of business etc. This could go on for months. Most businesses don't make those sweet SaaS margins. Same for airlines.

Thanks that is what I meant. Sorry to confuse people. By the way HN by the way seems to be the nicest site in terms of privacy, simplicity and page load times.

I'd really prefer RSS instead of marketing emails I choose to opt in to. An email feels like a todo, a stressor! An RSS feed feels like a "to read at lesiure" stream.
