Hypermedia (HATEOAS, REST, etc) is graph thinking as well. “endpoints” is not synonymous with “REST”, it is merely an address (likely paired with an expectation (or affordance).

there is a linguistic research called "usage based" and also "emergent grammar" that i find interesting regarding subjects like this: 1. meaning is usage. 2. structure emerges from usage. meaning we don't use gramma

great find for me! i am in design/dev for the learning and development industry, so naturally many teams have strong backgrounds in Flash, and lately Adobe Edge Animate and Tumult Hype (even Google has thrown something into the ring).
