Not sure if Upwork does it, but Upwork is the antithesis of the type of network that I am interested in building. The projects you get are usually bottom of the barrel. I have no interest in those types of projects.

Yes, same here. I was surprised actually. I do usually see this in some FOSS projects, but never in a commercial project. It was actually quite refreshing.

Yeh I think everybody is saying that if you are already hosting the source on GH, there is no need to host the static files on S3 -- you may as well just host it on GH:pages, because that will be free and you get all the benefits of S3.
