A few years ago i had laser eye surgery and now i can see well. Something that was not possible 50 years ago. Claiming that EVERY new technology comes at the expense of normal people is an absurd statement.

Slightly OT: How is it possible that the operators are unidentified? Surely someone must own the domain and pay upkeep for that? Wouldn't that expose at least one of them?

I think he used it as a counter-example where it made sense to him to be early. But you don't always have to be early, is his point, I think.
