RANVOO came out with a similar concept tooth brush a couple of years ago where it kinda looks like it just shoots water though the middle of the brush head. The Dyson one definitely seems to use more tech but probably does a similar thing.

Open/Close sensors + lights (and optionally luminance sensor) is what I find to be useful. When I open my home door the light turns on automatically if it's dark enough.

A bypass is not possible. I believe the raybans meta have an "always on" AI mode/session now. To be honest, the biggest issue with the glasses is battery life and I don't see that changing any time soon. It doesn't
