Uhhh.... why? Laptops and phones have totally different use cases. You could make a much better argument saying that an iPad with cellular means you wouldn't need an iPhone.

People don't like change. Using the word "change" makes it more obvious and the changes they made to their system (that were debatably for the worse) deliberately.

For what it's worth, Apple also offers on-site with AppleCare. And then in the cases for certain quality programs, such as the iMac hard drive replacement [1], they will do on-site even if you don't have AppleCare and/or are out of your 1 y
