I made the same misassumption when I moved back to Ottawa. Got laid off in 2020 during Corona. Jumped ship from private to government. Went from 185k US to 120K CAD. Substantial drop in purchasing power and ability to buy a house. I love

I own a LemurPro 9. Love it but the arrow keys are a crime against humanity. It appears they have fixed this (maybe even sooner) with the Pangolin. System76 if you here can you switch chassis :) ?

This has been posted a few times but a cool resource nonetheless. I played around with NES/assembly last year and just about got a scrolling engine fully working. Couldn't get the last 2 tiles to render before the NMI interrupt

Agreed. Identifying what is fixed and what is negotiable is key. Most often I see that scope is the only one that is not fixed when it comes down to it. Even more important is not letting your team get boxed into fixed scope and fixed tim

Another way to look at it is that there are three variables. Time, scope and velocity. If time and velocity are fixed variables then it follows that only scope can be changed to make a project fit into the time box.
