My guess would be that someone maintaining the main index isn’t maintaining the sorted indices. With Algolia, you have a duplicated index for each type of sort and direction that you want to support.

I have an IRC channel that myself and a few friends use every day. It’s probably 30% technical and 70% chat. I do wish more people still used it, but I guess most people like chat platforms with fancy features now.

Stores in the US do that here now. It's also incredibly annoying when it tells you to insert the chip and then decide "oh THAT's how you want to pay? Swipe it instead" after telling you to insert it.

Same here. It was weird at first, but now I almost always use ~70-80% screen brightness now. Going full brightness starts to hurt if you're in a dark room too.

In regards to the battery life, I was excited to see "9 hours remaining" the first time I turned the new MBP on. Realistically, I get about 3-5 depending on what I'm doing.
