I wholeheartedly agree, and I am a giant NixOS fan, BUT: 1. You need space for the Nix store, so it's not appropriate for every system (I like building small embedded appliances). 2. A six month release cycle can get a bit tiresome aft

Yeah, CK2 runs nicely on a laptop. The newer games are just a bit much. I wish we could have the same gameplay and systems with a less-fancy engine.

It used to be that he had a handful of core people who helped out, but it was never official AFAIK. I feel the same as you. I used Slackware on my primary machine for about a decade, but the long silence between 14.2 and 15 made me nervous.

It used to move with the scroll wheel. Starting with Big Sur it no longer does. No idea who thought that was a good idea.

Back in the day I used to force all websites to not only use my font, but my font size. I no longer bother since switching to HiDPI displays, but it was helpful for a while.
