My company won't publish the different salary zones, so we have to keep asking HR / our managers... it's practically impossible to optimize in that condition.

Agreed. They are basically telling the scammer(s) to use a more anonymous & untraceable crypto next time, as everyone will be following the coins in that BTC wallet now, which makes it much more difficult to "launder". I guess
