If you slow the bike from either the front wheel or the back wheel, energy is removed from the whole bike. There's little to no benefit from harvesting from both wheels.

Some quick corrections: Southwest operates from Dallas Love Field (DAL) instead of DFW- almost all commercial flights at DAL are Southwest flights. Midland(MAF) is a city about 350 miles away that they also fly to. Southwest merged with Air
