No it doesn’t? They can do all these things just fine over a LAN connection (assuming it routes externally). If you can firewall your LAN - you can also firewall your WiFi.

Lowest common denominator? They have to round trip due to various NAT/router/firewall/App BS. Your average ‘idiot’ can barely get a managed App to work, and that typically requires some kind of cloud endpoint to co-ordinate.

All the ones I see are reactors through water shielding, in which case you’d be fine. If you see a noticeable cherenkov effect from something that close that wasn’t heavily shielded by something like water, your camera sensor will likely be

They definitely meet the definition for a network. there is no requirement for determinism, bi-directional communication, etc. at least in the definitions I see for the word. and turning it off on your device doesn’t actually block the info

uh, that is just all the iphones acting as a mesh network for airtag ID’s? it means you can’t block the tracking by doing anything yourself - you’d also need to block everyone else’s devices too .
