The lack of API doc's for the c version is kind of frustrating. It makes it impossible for someone to evaluate whether or not your library is suitable for something they need. Or if it is, how to use properly.

The title on this is very misleading. It tested USB 3.2 not Thunderbolt. While they are the same port, they are not the same standard. My guess Apple doesn't support 10Gbps over USB 3.2, only thunderbolt.

This is a bit of a loaded question. It greatly depends on what kind of IDE you need. iOS/Mac apps Xcode, Android apps Android Studio, Web stuff vs-code, atom or anyone of another handful of apps. Each one has specific markets.
