Isn't this a matter of regulation? I'm not sure about US, but in EU you have old houses/buildings that are protected. Sure, you can buy them, but you can't modify or destroy them (being cultural heritage).

Other sites are blocking VPN's as well. It's a contineous hassle of turning VPN on and off. It feels like you are a third class citizen.

I don't care about fancy numbers, I care about high quality peering. I'd rather have a stable 50Mbit than 1Gbit and 0.5Mbit international peering with packet loss.

Reminds me of some frameworks that did the top to bottom approach. Yii (PHP) had a code generator that created all the CRUD logic for you. After generation, you could remove the code that you didn't need.
