Humans are nothing but hormones projected onto physical world. Expanding in space and time is a task of any living organism, be it your genes, ideas, etc. I won’t say more.

Yeah short sentences can be but I mean, who wants to? GPT cannot do it from what I’ve tried.

Thank you, yea I was hesitant about the voiceover too but figured it’s good enough to launch. As for the scrambled text, that’s the contents that will be unscrambled the moment one purchases the product. I should make it clearer for sure. Y

Haha, yea. Added a link a moment ago. Kind of like Leanpub but more minimalistic and straightforward I think.

Well, My target audience definitely interprets foreigner as gaijin, farang, gringo, etc.

Interesting. To me foreigner is a synonym for non-resident/alien. How do you interpret it? Dictionary says it’s `a person belonging to or owing allegiance to a foreign country`.

I’ve been working on a tool for making products using vertically integrated stack of an editor, renderer, and collaborative workspace. It was a lot technically. This product is a first real tangible outcome which I’m still working on. Any i

This is an excellent and pragmatic way of looking at scaling team as an engineer. The defragmentation comparison really demonstrates this clearly, thank you for sharing this.

Great move, congrats to everyone involved. Fly is very promising player in the space. Pipeline looks amazing, and I’ll be trying more of your offerings down the road.

I’ve been doing this as a contractor. I started in my home country, where $50/h is a lot—established relationships over time with people who value solid developers and hate handholding as much as I do. Over time progressed and tripled

I’ve been doing remote async for five years now. Nothing beats that lifestyle for me. I think it’s only natural to work that way. No alarms, only natural rhythms. Code when it works for you, tackle problems, respond to messages when it suit

It doesn’t. Software has been eating the world, and there’s no sign of it stopping. Software gave people like me a way to escape dire economic situation, and is the main reason for increased social mobility as in having lots of options. Tha

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I’ve been building using yjs and it’s indeed something much more exciting than a bunch of bs we see with web3.

Ok, now I understand more. I think local-first and single-user mode is easy enough with the tooling we have right now (there are hooks, FS adapters that are almost plug-n-play). The trickiest part is still resolving conflicts/modificat

Interesting. I’m a potential user. What do you have in mind that would make it a “simple reality”? I totally agree that it’s a mess right now. The hardest part for me was/is the sync and data consistency between syncs and modifications

I use Dokku and Caprover, Git hooks and two branches (staging, master) which I think is more than enough for a solopreneur. Dockerized apps are easy to reason about and fix in case of fires.

Not sure if you’re saying I’m a crypto proponent as I am not. To say that early Internet didn’t have its scams is a lie though. Crypto sucks too, don’t get me wrong. The digital scarcity is an archaic concept.
