std::indirect looks for me like another pointless c++ thing that already works with forward pointer declaration. You can add it to another ton of pointless things C++ adds without fixing the old ones. The issue with c++ is that it is so big

Why hate yourself? Violence is a part that makes us human. Without it we are not human If we will not learn to control it, we will die. But in the end everything does. Also, being prepared is important. Si vis pacem, parabellum.

The problem is that an industry can be used as leverage by China to hurt the economy. See Putin and Gazprom, Tawianese Chips and so on. Globalization is good, because it makes production of consumer goods more cost effective. But cost alon

Nope, math is invented, without people there is no math. Math is a logic system invented by humans. You don't have to use math to describe relations between things. Math is a language, it describes real world and is not real world itse

I really don't like internal memory management in such libraries. It should not be btn = lv.btn(lv.scr_act()) but Button bt; lv.init_button(&bt) so that I can decide where to keep the memory of button

I would give out handles and have a Guard Object, that allows you to get smart pointers from handles as long as Guard Object is in scope. Then when Guard Object is out of scope, the smart pointers would get invalidated.
