With the prevalence of Wayland, I don't think it's correct to say that most Linux users will never encounter problems with NVIDIA. Things have improved recently but Intel and AMD are still way ahead when it comes to that.

You can run intel/amd64 images too by passing '--platform linux/amd64'. I span up Hasura last week and it worked fine - there will be a speed impact but I couldn't notice it for that use case.

They'll block known VPN/Proxy endpoints I guess. I bet spinning up your own proxy/VPN will still work. Although they might block entire networks like EC2 and DigitalOcean too.
