Good point - that's the only issue I have with K9 and AGP on Android. I'm happy to live with only being able to view encrypted attachments on the desktop at the moment. There's an open issue to add PPG/MIME: https:/

You might like the open source Zim: http://zim-wiki.org/ It's completely replaced Evernote for me. You can drag and drop images from a browser or the file system.

Agreed - removing the driver would make it much more interesting. Safety regulations could then be relaxed considerably so we'd see more spectacular crashes. Also a human's inability to control a vehicle during high G force corner

Any drawbacks to using lvm comapared to AUFS? I'd like to switch to Debian from Ubuntu - will I notice any performance differences or other restrictions?

Author here: this is a bit like Alex Payne's 'sovereign' project but using Docker containers for apps. It's a bit rough around the edges but if any one would like to give it a go, the Docs are fairly easy to follow and y

Agreed - on my laptop XFCE works fantastically (Dell Latitude E6320 with dock and external 27" display). I use QuickTile to get the basics of a tiling window manager. Here's my blog post about that: http://knitatoms.net/2013/04/quicktile-s

Thanks for the link. I'd never heard of CheckVist or WorkFlowy. Having just tried them both, CheckVist is certainly more feature rich (due dates, formatting, multiple lists etc) whilst still being simple and keyboard driven.
