Fair enough. I would extend not generating clicks as an example of my point but I do think I tried to too narrowly explain why things are the way they are without reflecting on other alternatives too much.

Disappointed as a customer to see this nyt-is-bad preemptive pr defense and no substance action, as I guess as fits their mission statement, than a critical assessment of flaws etc. and description of improvements they’ll make going forward

Bitcoin is sort of notable vs US-dollar in that it’s significantly more of a novelty, and unlike the dollar, doesn’t have same fraud recovery path.

Legible might be a better word? The giant, viewport spanning, line-width mixed with dense line-height makes it harder on eye for some people, myself included.
