Provable operating systems such as seL4, etc., used in mission critical scenarios utilize formal methods to effectively prove correctness of the system. Definitely a real-world use case. Worth knowing for a normal SWE? Probably not.

Agreed for sure, but even the younger generations seem susceptible to believing whatever they read on Twitter, etc. There have been countless times I’ve seen people share info as de facto truth when they simply glanced at a headline Twitter
