   That's where I find myself now. I'm trying to bite the bullet and just use emacs for daily tasks, but it's hard to switch!

   The interesting thing about Brad Warner (author of said article) and generally Soto Zen (his practice) is that "Enlightenment" is really just a distraction and not important at all. It is not intended to be the point of zazen/meditation.

   With all of the excitement I see online about SICP and Lisp/Scheme, do you (or anyone else) know why they are transitioning away from the book and Scheme?
