Sure, and if depressed people weren't sad, they'd be happier. 'Just don't get frustrated' isn't actionable advice.

Slippery slope is famously a fallacious argument. My first exposure to it was people insisting that legalizing gay marriage would end up legalizing marriage to animals.

It seems like this post got killed as well, but it's the first I'm hearing of the functionality. I wouldn't say I'm a frequent user of the site, but I think I would have noticed if people were posting this link often.

People on Hacker News with a high enough score get a "super downvote" that can downrank a story, with enough removing it off the page entirely (flagged). It's why you won't see stories critical of Elon Musk or the curren

But suddenly adding cameras that resulted in catching more people fixed the issue? Surely if the catch and release was the issue, that wouldn't make a difference.

Do you really think many people are being charged and found guilty of felony assault for throwing a sandwich at a random person? He was only charged because the guy was part of a cop-like class.

This is similar to how I'd describe it for me. I can mold the apple into what I want it to be, adding a sheen or showing the bottom or the top, but any "visualization" that I do disappears basically immediately.
