Not specific to your subject, but here's a list of active gopher servers: gopher://kamalatta.ddnss.de/1/links I regulary search for active/new gopher servers. This list gets updated daily.

Yes. I use plan9(9front) in my home network to serve local and remote a variety of services: smtp, dns, gopher, gemini, 9fs, rcpu.

I have a list of 634 gopher servers, which I check daily for their "aliveness": gopher://kamalatta.ddnss.de/1/links There are some duplicates (different domains for the same content, IP addresses) but roughly 3
