iirc microsoft also allowed installing homebrew without cracking the console, which definitely was a conttibuting factor. Why hack the console if you can just install your own software already. And it isn't like any xbox console exclus

Isn't battery life worse on it? I did consider it at some point but not having google wallet(apparently nfc payments are only available via banks' apps there) was too big of a downside for me.
