I think this is absolutely one of the reasons. Addresses are very hard to remember in ipv6. You usually just have to remember the first 3 parts of ipv4 and then change the last digit based on the host you want. IPv6 I know it has shorthand

100% agree. We would put everyone on chromebooks if we had our way. I don’t think it’s good for productivity and generating new ideas for a company so I never advocate for it.

Use fs_usage. https://ss64.com/osx/fs_usage.html It’ll show all file events. No need to disable SIP. SIP is doing a lot of good work for users and unless you’re doing kernel work or low level coding I’d keep it enabled

That's a real shame, you're right. I guess I just see talent different. If this was happening for my product I'd want them on my team. You could argue the legality but there is clear drive and talent to be tapped into.

I think jupyter notebooks, pytorch/tensorflow and python is much more approachable by everyone. Julia has a steeper learning curve whereas I think you can learn to do enough in Python within a month to be dangerous.
