Facebook. You can tag your friends and they will be notified. That's a huge advantage, because not only the tagged person comes to see but also her nosy friends.

The consequence of being #2 on users, uniques or pageviews is not neccessarily being #2 in revenues. I think loosing money is what puts you out of business sooner or later.

Reading this drives everyone to immediately check his account further increasing the load on the servers. Maybe we should sit back, relax and remember the times when email did not yet exist.

I think you cannot keep a site with traffic like this running on AdSense (at least with a decent performance) and it's definitely not an environment for advertisers who pay top dollars.
