I've never used Streisand before. What I normal do is using Shadowsocks directly (part of what Streisand offers). It has Windows, Linux, OSX, and Android clients. Third party IOS client is also available.

This seems to be allowed in WeChat. But such text will be blocked if you try to send it in a group chat. I guess CPP allows you to talk privately but not publicly in a 300 people group.

Emacs's elpy package is also great at auto-complete. I haven't used PyCharm myself but Emacs is more than enough. Also, most of my other programming are done in Emacs.
