Well shit. If this is right, I'm dropping Backblaze and recommending all my friends/customers do the same. I pay for and rely on Backblaze as the "back up everything" they advertise.... to silently stop backing up the va

Spectacular! I haven't played minesweeper in many many years.... learned that the Mac trackpad has very inconsistent right-click detection. Frustrating!

The solution here is to stop at every yellow light. If it's timed very fast, spend the entire red holding down your horn. Enough people protest predatory lights in this fashion, either it will get fixed or the local police will start s

I wonder if it was an option to say "okay", continue circling, then declare a fuel emergency and land. Seems like ATC was being a dick here. Not sure: 1) How long this would take 2) If this actually endangers anyone/anything

I'm not sure I buy this. If someone can hack this together for <$100 at home, there should be plenty of supply to meet the demand. $40 HDMI cables are an option (albeit a terrible one). For EVSEs, there really isn't a reasonabl

Given what's in this, why are EVSEs so expensive? Given the quantities we see, the $150 range should be more than enough for a decent profit.

Is nobody going to address why copper winding wire was used for DC power and signaling?

I was with them until I read that they voluntarily floated out without a motor and had to safety equipment. There's just no excuse for this. You can get nasty old (but viable) class-2 PFDs for free almost anywhere. What happens when th

Holy crap, I spent way too much time trying to type text or figure out why it changed state when you clicked on it.

I'm in my 40's and want to go for a ride. I suspect I'd appreciate it for reasons different than a small child, but I'd appreciate it all the same. Just.... wow.

Wait, is this not going to have the usual "pair of wires you short to turn it on" feature of every furnace made so far? That's the ultimate control for when all the cloud features disappear and would be a deal-breaker for me.

I have really mixed feelings about this. Not a fan of typical government jobs, but the FAQ reads so much more like a startup. Is it true? What does the compensation look like (broadly)?

I doubt it. That's a really hard problem. Ignoring the machine vision component, if someone on the side of the road waves at their friend, should cars going by stop? Since there's no way to take control of these vehicles, I imag

I'd say you need to make the vector. They are simple enough that a tracing program could do it with high accuracy, but any graphic logo I buy definitely needs to be scalable and clean at any resolution. Very nice though! Are you feedin

What would you have job posting sites do differently to validate employers? This is an extremely difficult problem.

I have one of these sitting in my closet, the pre-acquisition development module I got off ebay for a few students to work with. The sensation is very strong, but the novelty wore off quickly.

I'm surprised, always thought the Rackspace premium price was to prevent or significantly reduce these issues. That being said, I've had quite a few problems with them over the last year or so that is making me reconsider. The fir

I'm a recent convert to Tailwind, like your builder a lot. Any chance you can/will integrate the TailwindUI components for those that have purchased them? For me, that would be killer for quick mock-ups and starting points.

Why not take the Georgia Tech online MSCS instead? Only $7k, you get a Master's degree instead of a 'Certificate', and you have the option of covering a lot of the same material.

Seconded. ~$6k for a reasonably challenging online program. Like anything, you get out of it (education-wise) what you put in, but the price can't be beat.

Might still have problems with some accounts? I'm a former paid user, cancelled when you announced and I started teaching myself competing software. I still get a "your account is suspended" instead of access under the free plan.
