Being let go at the whims of your executive is different than leaking information against your contract. If the contract has no rules against speaking, then the action wasn't a leak, but rather a standard communication.

Sounds similar to the monopoly on SIM chips by cell service providers. We were not always required to have the same (or any) textbook in some of my college classes. Sometimes, multiple alternatives (with brief reviews) were given.

Textbooks are more highly regulated than cell phone service? I doubt it. As the article tries to point out, the things we need are largely dominated by human costs. TV manufacturing is automated and scaled, but child care is not.

Good article, but I don't see where it addresses how working fewer hours is good for your boss (though, you can try to read in to it). The article even says that it (working less hours) won't work at some companies.

2-sigma events should vanish all the time. p < 5% just means that you see it (vanishment) happening less than 1-in-20 times. If you have hundreds of such events, you'll have dozens of vanishings.

Yeah, in my reading it doesn't seem like they cache on request. I don't think they said that they only cache some content though. They likely cache everything, but do so before making that content available to viewers.
