sugar does not reduce acidity, it masks it. Bicarbonate of Soda reduces it, and brings the sugar already present to the fore. a micro pinch in the tomato sauce makes it bite less and reduces digestive acidity reflux from eating a tomato bas

Could have all been avoided. Japan's power consists of Fiefdoms and no cooperation from adjacent working power sources at that time. They could have run an "extension cord" and saved themselves from the entire mess.

I agree the entanglement is a good thing, but our dependence on them might have been contributory to their boldness on Ukraine, deterrence is still needed. Cooperation and interdependence prevents these events.
