When you modify a name/avatar on Slack, the change is made globally it affects all previous messages, etc. There are only 4 of us that use Slack, and you can see our user handles on the left under "DIRECT MESSAGES". No one is

Couldn't agree more. I work on Clyp (formerly Audiour) and I think one of our core differentiators is the time we spend on having a good looking soundwave. This is one of the main reasons we try to put it front and center on the player

I totally agree with your fanrant. I think they did an excellent job paving the way with images, but there are still gaps to be filled with audio, video, etc. I've started working on audiour ('The imgur of audio') in my spare

I think he has a good point but I don't totally agree. I created http://audiour.com which could be seen as facilitator of /r/Music (or other similar subreddits), but there is no sense of 'community' like
