In System Preferences » Keyboard » Shortcuts you need to have enabled Full Keyboard Access. The shortcut to toggle it is (fn-)Control-F7. After that you can tab through all controls and navigate to the Mouse Keys checkbox and check that.

I also recommend Welch Labs’ Neural Network Demystified-series[0]. It is a combination of the Coursera course and the YouTube videos. It get’s into some of the math, while still keeping it basic. [0]: https://www.youtube.com/

Mavericks was released later than Yosemite. I wouldn’t say either of those were delayed. Both were released in the ‘fall’ as Apple announced at both WWDC ‘13 and ‘14.

I visited Google Dublin last year and found that they still used the old beveled Google-logo for e.g. letters and papers. Not the slightly beveled logo from 2010-2013, but the old one from 1999-2010.
