   Another interesting fact is that at least some of the cycle lane markings are projected rather than painted because otherwise they would be covered by the snow.

   Are you sure you are talking about Chile? As far as I know it doesn't have a child labor problem nor is it a big producer of rare earth metals.

   This is a dumb feature for a modern CPU, the really smart part is out-of-order execution and other optimizations that CPU's do behind the scenes
