Feels like a manager with no branding skills had an initial “vision” and everyone working there probably hoped marketing/branding would get pulled in later. Never happened.

Totally agree. It does break the rules, but it feels so much faster than defining class names. On simple projects I usually @apply tailwind styles to standard elements like headings, block quote, aside, nav etc. Then just use semantic html.

Very nostalgic! I remember using this a few times around maybe 2005 when a Windows system got corrupted. Knoppix would boot from the CD and let you recover files from your HD. Loved it
