It could be that photo library access was the hard constraint. I wasn't going to allow that until I got to play around with the app. I'll try again and re-assess.

As someone who develops for iOS and Android I agree. Xcode and the Cocoa Touch frameworks have improved a huge amount in just a few short years. Meanwhile, the Android frameworks seem to be crawling and it seems like no one can be bothered
