Thanks for the corrections! You are of course right, I'm not very up to speed on the different nuances. If you don't accept the 4 month renewal of the probation period it is usually a firing reason for them... of course YMMV.

A LOT of less waste maybe ? It is very inconvenient and a hassle to have 5 different cables for 5 different devices. It is a waste of space, materials... The economic gains by volume continent wide should not be underestimated.

I mean you can always have the best of both worlds. Do the zoom meeting by all means but never forget to send a meeting summary to all parties with an agreed statement about the objectives and assignments. This way there are no ambiguities
