Love the manifesto. Great list of things. I particularly like #1. It’s been a major focus of mine to focus my attention on things within my control. And in the current environment that’s definitely not easy.

Trevor’s friend here: https://store.wearewired.in I took his advice haha. I have 300 fully packaged signs to pick up this week. Excited to fix the supply chain issues and start shipping end of the week.

Lol. I hate this list. I don't want it to be true, because I want to believe in the best of people. Unfortunately I think you may be right. It seems like the people that succeed in marketing are the people that agree with this. We all

There are a lot of pieces to the prototyping; this post is by Andrew on prototyping the bluetooth with the RFDuino. The hardware they built is a dream to work with. Feel free to ask questions about our prototyping process. We're excite

I'm not sure. At this point we're actually considering on tying in with existing messaging APIs (Slack, Hipchat, Campfire, Google Hangouts)

We are actually planning on letting users customize their sign text. Also, you can change the color depending on availability. My hope is that you'd actually have an entire work space with a sign on each desk.

I'd love to hear any ideas you guys have, or any thoughts on what we should talk about. We're in prototype phase and we have done some overseas testing. We're also going through the process of building it for HomeKit.

I realize that money isn't everything. And developing for iOS means more than that. I do think, however, that it's weighing on the minds of a lot of people picking a career path. Building for iOS gives you the ability to reach mil

I just remembered that Tower is releasing a V2 now as well. I wish I had numbers on the effect of those V2 and V3 and even V4 releases.

It's a common method for indie Mac developers. Look at anything Panic does, or even someone like Daniel Jalkut with Mars Edit.

I think you are exactly right. The indie devs speaking out are largely Game developers. The funny thing about the Unread story is that if he keeps on releasing new paid versions (like Tweetie 2 or Tweetbot 2) and then charges for them, he&#

I'm a full time iOS dev that taught myself. I spent a ton of time working through my struggles via StackOverflow and piece working online tutorials. Very cool to see what you were able to build in only 12 weeks. Why did you choose this

Thanks for pointing this out. This was a post we pushed earlier, we weren't quite ready to open the doors yet. This post is a more comprehensive overview of what we're trying to do.

That's the exact same problem we had, and all of our potential clients had. We want to make it easier to use, more accessible. We talked to 3 types of customers. The non-technical were largely disinterested. We're still too early
