Next.js saved me from the mess that was Gatsby and have used it for many projects but these days I find Astro simplifies things even more and has become my go to tool.

Have you tried Astro. Lets you get back to basic html, css and it’s not a SPA but an old school MPA. Lets you use react or similar for any interactive component but without SPA complexity. Worth a look but always depends on what your needs

I think Astro is more likely the successor to Next.js and probably not remix. I think Next will steal the best parts of Remix but Astro was built with simpler foundations and has integrations for deno with Netlify edge functions among other

This feels exactly the same as Astro SSR (which I’ve been using recently and is great by the way). I guess this validates their direction. Happy to see more frameworks like this.

I’m unsure why you would need HTMX and alpine. Phoenix I believe is capable of handling what both of those would provide, or perhaps I’m missing something?

I've used 11ty and quite a few other static site builders (Hugo, jekyll) and also wordpress and Craft CMS. But by far the best I've used is Astro, similar to 11ty but much more simpler to build with and much more powerful IMO

I see Elixir pulling in a lot of people in with Liveview, especially those in the node/react world who are getting tired of the churn and build complexities.
