I went back to cable last year after years of Netflix/Hulu for my tv needs (there isn't a better option than Comcast for ISP and the Internet + Cable + HBO deal was more or less the same I was paying for Internet + Netflix/Hu

This is long established practice in the publishing business - publications getting exclusive excerpting rights to upcoming big books. Lewis's name can help move some issues of the Times, and the exposure there helps move some books. L

There are some areas where Amazon definitely outshines Netflix, particularly children's programming, which honestly is 80% of the streaming video my family does - Amazon has all the Nickelodeon shows, which Netflix doesn't, which

Looks great! One thing to consider - the Sass download button is a US Dollar sign, which initially confused me when I saw it as I wondered if there was some sort of paid feature.

Thanks for the answer. That's good reasoning; I figured as well as this all seemed put together it wasn't "oh, geez, didn't think of that!" so I'm glad to see there was a reason. :)

As the frontend dev, any insight as to why you didn't go responsive with this? It's a nice looking site and you did a great job, but I'm surprised - since this is a publishing platform that obviously caters to multiple device

I really wish the pages for projects like these would devote even a small section of their documentation to accessibility. I know it's not usually top of mind, and not everyone is bound by Sec508, but it is an oft-ignored best practice

When I was visiting my brother for Christmas last year, my 14 year old nephew told me he was interested in coding and really wanted to learn Java and PHP. My reaction was "you clearly don't read Hacker News".
