I personally fight against this trend by almost entirely indexing on problem solving approach when I give leetcode interviews at my BigTech. For me at least it's possible to get a strong hire recommendation even if you only get a brut

The graph really makes it seem like the small practices are getting screwed on reimbursement rates, but once PE takes over, they are in a better negotiating position to get higher reimbursement rates from insurance companies.

My main takeaway from Quantum Field theory in grad school was that the proton (and electron, etc really all subatomic particles) is just a useful fiction; much like a spherical, frictionless cow. It's just that in particle accelerator

I just started on wegovy last week and it is amazing: hunger no longer rules me. TLDR on the study: average weight loss of ~15% compared to a control group. I had to fight through some insurance prior authorization issues but now I get it

I find it cool to explore these edge cases, but putting anything like this in a real code base is a terrible idea BECAUSE there are so many different ways to interpret it. Sure a < b <= c has a clear mathematical meaning which works

I do think it's worthwhile to question building an incredibly expensive particle collider without a specific purpose in mind, when the money could go towards fields like fusion energy, quantum computing, or cancer research
