Wait, how slow is it starting for you? On my 2012 Mac Mini, a clean clj 1.11 REPL (with no namespaces loaded) starts in under 5 seconds (using JDK 18).

"Cloud-based" shows up as a "Pro" compared to Metabase several times, but that's inaccurate, since Metabase has a hosted offering: < https://www.metabase.com/start/ >

There's one particular company that always asks for these on the phone, and unfortunately I have to call them somewhat regularly. "Yes, my grandma's name is 7lIMkcblbatQ7wXrmamTHc". Interestingly, they always maintain

How do you prefer to gather the context for something that may have been hashed out months or years ago by different people?

Don't put "No rem0te" in the description if you don't allow that arrangement. Simply say "onsite" as per the instructions at the top.

Don't say "No rem0te workers." Just simply leave that word out and have ONSITE as you do. Putting that word in there messes up filters/queries people are using.

Please don't use the word "rem0te" when it is actually ONSITE Boston, San Diego, or Chicago. It messes up people's search queries and filters.

It also says at the bottom: Remote is possible though it has our preference to have someone in the office.

So these are not actually rem0te, which has a very specific meaning and which people filter on. These are ONSITE Pasadena, Boston, San Diego, and Chicago.

Actually, it turns out that LastPass (which I use) has incorporated most of what's discussed in this sub-thread into its security checker tool, so it automatically tells me which sites need to have passwords changed for them and when.

When would be the optimal time to perform these password changes? I am assuming that not every affected site has been patched yet, and it would be pointless to change the password, and log in, before they have fixed the problem.

May I ask if you have pets and/or children? My family is looking to relocate there in about 6 months, and from my limited early research, finding a place that accepts pets and has enough space (I WFH so need an office) is remarkably d
