It would be fitting to have an equivalent of Fugitive's :Gbrowse to see a file on github and :Gblame to see the blame inline. Never understood why would your editor should be aware of git until I used that.

Did you test about asking the people to enter the date as ISO yyyy-mm-dd ? I'm not raised in the US and am usually confused of the meaning of some dates, however stating the year first makes it always understandable.

Yeah, but I find notebooks to be in the same category as mobile phones where you don't get anything but bulkiness in return for your time. You might get a better use for your time building your own servers and workstations.

The only Java ME I really use are Opera Mini and Gmail. And you could argue there are better apps for that functionality on stock Android.

I learnt a lot by using frameworks as symfony. The initial learning curve is steep, but then you can understand architecture better. The jump to other languages such as python and java was really easy after that.
