I've been reconciling my transactions in GnuCash for 20 years, I've been pretty good at catching charges I don't expect. I also set the credit cards to send me an email for any transaction over $1.

One issue I've run into with unexpected NSFW in my federated TL on a single user instance is when people I follow reply to an unfollowed account's NSFW post, when the reply gets sent to my server it fetches the parent post

Sometimes the terminal will ask Debit or Credit, sometimes it will just prompt for a PIN (meaning it wants to run it as debit) and you can just hit OK and it will run it as credit instead.

I think people were surprised Google did the work to upgrade it to Android 13 but only did a couple months of patches for it. I think the old promise was 2 years of major os and an additional year of patches.

In the olden times your ISP usually included it like they did with email, the instructions for my old isp still exists though I doubt the news server does http://www.uswest.net/help/newsgroups.html
