“By mistake”? This was absolutely criminal. And since this is a very small town (<1000), knowing the kind of people who live in small towns, I could very well believe this is a case of “fuck everybody else”

If you don’t have the legal expertise or the time to read a contract you hire a lawyer to have him see if the contract is reasonable, or you don’t sign it.

I don’t read tos (as in contracts of online services) but I don’t cry when something unexpected happens because I didn’t read them. It’s my right to sign contracts without reading them. It’s not my right to pretend I didn’t sign them bec

Then don’t use the services. I wouldn’t sign a contract without reading it. “Your honour, I had no time to read the contract, therefore it’s void” seems a bad excuse.

The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfu

Spaniard here and I confirm. TV always on even at a low volume is a given no matter the circumstances. I think we’d all feel weird if that background noise wasn’t there. I’ve always imagined it’s the same everywhere in the world, but perha

What is SimilarWeb and how do they know that? Because I have a hunch that they are pulling the numbers out of their asses just so they are mentioned in articles from shitty blogs like this one.

How did you interpret “immature” as “not smart enough”? A baby is not mature, which doesn’t mean he won’t grow up. “Immaturity” means that there’s room for improvement and that that improvement is attainable. What I mean to say is that this

As far as I can tell, 4chan is vehemently against the current neoliberal wars. They laughed their asses off at the US abandoning Afghanistan and are questioning why the NATO has to be in Ukraine at all. Perhaps I misunderstood your tone.
