I was thinking of something similar. Waxing poetic, it's been a while since the wheel was invented and we've gone through a lot since then, yet the rich are still rich and the poor are still poor and the loved are still loved and

Love it, such a novel idea! Honestly, as a long time Voronoi enthusiast, the idea of turning a regular grid into a Voronoi diagram is kind of obvious and I admit that this is definitely something that I would like to have come up with mysel

Sometimes I'm taken aback by the visceral reaction some people have when their spider sense detects LLM impurities in the writing. I read that same sentence (and the whole article, which I loved) and it didn't trigger anything in

One thing that always comes to mind when I read articles like this is that, suppose he's right and the economic value of 8 billion people becomes close to zero at some point because of AI or something else: What will 8 billion people b

I am working on vorfract, a voronoi voxel world. I've always found the shapes generated by voronoi diagrams so interesting and I quite like the aesthetic. What new ideas am I thinking about? I'm pretty sure there are plenty of thi

https://vorfract.com To be honest, it's actually more of a game development log, but it's the closest thing I have to a personal website. It's hosted on an old Linux PC at home.

Same as last time, I guess. It's a voxel building environment that uses irregular voxels (voxels with sloped faces). I've been working on fixing the bugs for a while now (and there are still a lot of them left). Browser version he

Speaking of unconventional languages for web development, there's also Wt, for people who are used to building things using C++. I found it surprisingly good and considering how little I know on how to use HTML/CSS/JS/PH

I've been working for some time on a voxel building environment which uses irregular voxels (cellular voxels) instead of the usual cubic grid ones. If you're curious, you can see it here (needs WebGL2 + Wasm): https://j

Yes, same here! I was hooked after that, on Louis Armstrong first and then jazz in general.

My favourite Louis Armstrong recording is "A kiss to build a dream on". Even today he seems to be larger than life.. I so wish I could have seen him at the height of his career. Thank you for this.
