I think you are conflating XMTP with XMPP. XMTP is some new-ish blockchain bullshit. XMPP is the old messaging protocol.

I feel the opposite. I find the C# more readable than the Haskell. I haven't written C# regularly in 10yrs.

This is definitely better than nothing. I personally prefer a bit more so that It looks good on my old crappy phone with far fewer than 600px wide. water.css is great.
