I think this comes down to whether you're a platform or a publisher, if you're a provider you're not responsible for what your usera do with your service, if you only allow selective use then you're implicitly endorsing

i would agree there as long as the providers are actually neutral they should be free from culpability. we shouldn't encourage providers to restrict who they serve because of potential liability, that's giving them way to much pow

what kind of workflow are you using the requires that many tokens? I rarely hit my limit with the $100 a month plan and I use fable pretty frequently although it usually acts as an orchestrator while the actual work is done by lesser models

we might need to bring back the Voight-Kampff test. anthropic at the very least is introducing a water making system to Claude which might make them more identifiable to humans as well as much easier to detect for machines.
