   This is a talk I gave at virtual conference (SPLASH) about the incentive system in academia and how it is designed to prevent us from building any non-trivial software. I would love comments (yes, the talk was recorded while with covid)

   Most things we can do seem irrelevant, the only thing that would hurt is regulation. Will that happen? Unlikely in the US. Perhaps in Europe...

   Hmm, but what if it acts unethically? What if Grimm's right and it has a hand in the death of quite a few people. Is that censorship? Or asking to take responsibility for flaws in the machine?

   I don't think you'll find more about Reflex. The language is still in the late design stages, it has not yet been released. That video is probably the only public information about Reflex, straight from its creator's lips.
