    I migrated from Google Workspaces to Fastmail earlier this year and their migration tools made for a smooth transition. My only big complaint is their woeful spam filtering. I get 1-2 spam emails a day, and I mark each and every one as spam

    I wonder if you’re encountering MacOS’ Gatekeeper malware checking being slow to communicate with Apple’s servers. My understanding is it checks the app every time you launch.

    I really like this idea. One thing about about the public key cryptography example that I’ve often wondered, wouldn’t it be better to explain the private party’s contribution as a lock that can only be opened with the public keys?

    I used Synology backup for google services to back up my emails and migrated to Fastmail. They have an import tool that seemed to work well.
