There is a solution, but don't use it, use mastodon: In the settings, enable Firefox containers. This allows you to seperate the cookies of X from all other sites. Also install uBlockOrigin to block all trackers on X itself.

I like the idea of just renaming an `html` file to `php` and adding a bit dynamic stuff. A webserver that could do this with JavaScript/TypeScript would be cool! (Or maybe I should learn php…)

Probably because it's rust. Realistically, you would only need it when you have already written a part of your software in rust.

For Linux, there is Gnome Boxes, which is a quite good VM for all the stuff I need one for. It may not be as complete as VMware, but has most of the important stuff.

It true that there is a new contract between EU and USA to allow accessing and storing data of EU-citizens in/from the USA. But that contract will probably be declared illegal by a court, just like the last times.
